To create a BOGO discount, first navigate to the Manual Offers page. On this page, open the BOGO Discounts tab and click Create BOGO discount. This will open the configuration page where you can set up the promotion.
To create a BOGO discount, you need to select a trigger product and specify the discount amount.
Offer Trigger is the product that activates the promotion. In other words, it is the product for which the BOGO offer will apply. When a customer adds this product to the cart in a sufficient quantity, the system automatically applies the discount.
In the current version of the feature, the discount works on an “every second item” basis. This means that when a customer adds two identical trigger products to the cart, the second item receives the discount. If the customer adds four of these products, the discount will apply to the second and fourth items.
After selecting the product, you need to specify the Discount Amount. This defines the percentage discount that will be applied to every second item.
For example, if you set the discount to 50%, every second item will be 50% cheaper.
To make the promotion work, make sure to set the promotion status to Active. If the status is draft, the BOGO discount will not be applied in the store.
